Baby Jorgensen #4
Introducing... Jordan pAnthony Jorgensen, born 8/26 at 6:57 AM. 7lbs 5 oz and 20inches. Our shortest and heaviest little boy. He has a head full of hair and is a very noisy sleeper. I think he looks most like Jaeden as a newborn. pictures to follow soon.

Playing Outdoors
It's been awhile since the boys have played outside around here, which has nothing to do with our extreme heat and lack of rain :) Jaeden reminded me around 7:30 this morning (yes, we'd all been awake for over an hour already) that I had promised Jayce last week that he could ride his bike in the morning sometime. With that and not wanting to be outside after 9 or 9:30 when it's already unbearably hot - we started the day quickly! Between 7:30 and 8, we managed to collect all the trash and wheel it down the driveway since our trash is always collected before 8:30. I unfortunately had to kill a roach, since Joel had already left for work :(( yuck!! and we all ate breakfast and changed into clothes! Jayce loves riding his bike and is getting pretty good. Jaeden prefers to ride other outside toys and NOT his bike, and Jaxon just loves anything outside. After riding for awhile they decided to do some T-ball practice, and no one was injured :) We finally came inside an hour later at 9 - and it was HOT!!
My 3 sweaty boys!! Yes, this was coming in at 9 AM.
This picture doesn't give his wet head much justice, but I'm frequently asked if he's put his head in water or dumped water on his hair, but I always get to tell people, "Nope, it's pure sweat!"
Cow Appreciation Day
So, we actually made it out to Chick-fil-A's cow appreciation day on Friday - thanks to my sister for informing me of the date. I missed last year's. Anyways, they have it once a year - if you dress like a cow you get a free lunch :) I chose not to dress up, but had no problem dressing the 3 kiddos. They actually loved dressing up, even Jaxon. Shockingly they actually ate most of their food, which has NEVER EVER happened at Chick-fil-A. In their lifetime, Jaeden (5.5) has eaten 0 cfa nuggets, and that continues! Jayce (4) has maybe eaten 7 cfa nuggets, and 4 were consumed on Friday. Jaxon (20 months) has also probably eaten 7 or 8, and 4 of those were consumed on Friday as well!! It was a good thing I bought my sandwich, and didn't rely on them NOT eating, which is how I usually order food, knowing what will be left that I can consume. Anyways, they were cute!! They added the black socks to their hands after I asked them to put black socks on their feet as hooves. Jaeden questioned if it was ok to wear "church" socks!. Obviously, colored socks - black, navy or khaki or only worn on Sunday's here. We hope to return next year for another free lunch :)
Only one picture was snapped, since I was amazed they were all actually looking at the camera. Maybe I should have them say "moo" more often!

Happy belated 4th!
It wasn't a very exciting weekend with the Burn Ban and NO FIREWORKS in Houston (The Woodlands). We weren't driving 45 minutes downtown to see them! We started the weekend with packing - a long, slow process, but we are SOOOO ready to move.
Sunday.... we headed to church as usual, but the boys added their sunglasses (thanks, Davis and Wilson for the hand-me-downs) They've been loving their new sunglasses.
Of course, we couldn't leave Jax out!
Monday, we celebrated Daddy's birthday and America's by staying home most of the day. We started the day with the boys lining up their favorite stuffed animals to sing Happy Birthday to daddy, and we also enjoyed homemade orange rolls and cinnamon rolls. We did venture out to buy our new cell phones - We've finally joined the 21st century! Although I do miss my old phone a little. The boys are most excited because they can now play games on our phones!! We finished the day with a yummy Marble Slab ice cream cake, thanks to Groupon!

Celebrating Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to all. Since I don't plan on making Joel his normal red velvet birthday cake, I thought I'd make it for Father's day instead. Yummy as usual!!

Jayce's 4th Bday
As always I'm behind on blogging, but at least this year Jayce's birthday will be blogged within one month of his bday - quite a record for me!! Anyways, I've mentioned before that Jayce has been very excited for his birthday for months!!! It was the first year Jayce had a party at home since we've traveled on or around his bday the last two years. The party was very similar to Jaeden's last party, except the theme was Power Rangers!!! The boys love the new Power Ranger Samurais. Unfortunately, there are very few pictures, but we all had fun. Jayce invited his preschool class and most of the boys and one girl came.
A bounce house for our favorite jumper!!
Power Ranger cake - the face mask of the Red Ranger, Jayden, his favorite.
Samurai dipped pretzels with taffy beetle disks.
There was also an obstacle course which his friends loved, but no picture :(
After party fun...

Daddy and Jayce
So Jayce refused to be 3.5 years old, but now he's not only 4, he's 4.5, soon to be 5 according to him. And yes, he still tells me he's growing up to be a monkey. Should I be concerned, should I hope for higher aspirations than a monkey? The other morning I was combing his hair, and he was telling me where his pretend tail was, then he made a silly noise and told me his tail just whipped me in the face! What a goofy kid, he is hilarious!!
