Jaxon's 6 Months

...and 1 week, but who's counting.  I thought I'd already posted his 6 months, but I guess the last month just flew by too quickly.  Jaxon is rolling all over now and still loves to eat!!!  He weighed in at 18 lbs 6 oz and was 28.5 inches.  75% for weight and 95% for height.  Maybe he'll keep slimming down - my back sure would love it!!  As for comparison he's practically the same size as Jaeden and Jayce at 12 months.  Jax likes to be entertained all the time. He's not one for being left alone, and if he is, he will always let you know where to find him!!!
Sorry for no recent pics, you'll have to refer to his haircut post!!

While mom's away...

the boys pick out their own clothes, which is not a good thing.  Jayce loves to pick out what shirt he's wearing, and Jaeden could careless. Jaeden does attempt to match clothes, but it rarely works.  The other day Jaeden tried to tell me his red shirt matched his red shorts. I had to inform him that it doesn't work that way - 2 totally different reds. Anyways, while I was at the dentist, Jaeden put together the following...

He was obviously still in his pajamas, and it was his idea to put his foot up on their "new" fire hydrant sprinkler and hose.

I'm not sure why Jayce's pajamas don't match, but he's wearing the football helmet we made for Jaeden's 2nd halloween in 2006, and it's on backwards.  It would never stay on his head so we had to add the chin strap, which works great and can be tightened very easily. Both boys insist on wearing their helmets while playing football.

Jaeden's 1st Soccer Game

Jaeden had a blast at his first game, and continues to tell us how excited he is to be playing Soccer. He actually did very well his first game - He made 2 or 3 goals, thanks to the goalie that just stood there doing nothing. He always knew which direction the ball should be going, and he defended 3 goals when he was goalie. And one ball he stopped in the air. Overall, he looked great at his first game!!

Lined up before the game with his team and coach, Jaeden was captain for this game!

Not afraid to get in there and steal the ball.

Running to keep the ball going in the right direction.

It rained right before the game, and he slipped when trying to get the ball.

Right before his goal, as you can see the goalie was not interested in doing her job.

When do you cut a baby boy's hair?

Do you wait until he's One year old,

or do you cut it when it's over 4 inches long???
Jaxon's hair is super crazy, but now that an inch has been cut, it's a little more tame....

Big brother wanted in on the photo shoot!

"If only I didn't have that darn curl on top of my head, it NEVER lays flat!!!"

Jayce saw that the camera was out when he woke from his nap, and requested his picture be taken.
And he's now officially potty trained - No accidents x 1 week!!

While Dad was in flight to Utah...

were the boys cooking dinner???

Before I get reported, of course the stove was not on and the knobs are covered. Although, I don't think they know how to turn them on anyway.

What delicious food were they cooking?? (on a cold fire)

Some water mixed with a little oil and apple cider vinegar! (3 liquids sitting next to the stove)
It wasn't tasty, but smelled yummy!

Every kitchen utensil and baby spoon was used to make this dinner!

Happy Easter...

The boys had an exciting Easter morning.  All they wanted from the Easter bunny, besides a good egg hunt, were Hershey bars.  We even wrote the bunny a note several weeks ago asking for Hershey bars.  The bunny obviously got the note!!  Saturday at breakfast, Jaeden told us, "I hope he (the easter bunny) doesn't hide the eggs in the same place as last year."  I then asked if he remembered where the eggs were hidden last year, and he then proceeded to tell and show me where several eggs were last year.  Who knows where the eggs were last year, but I know some of the places he mentioned were definitely correct.  If I only had 1/2 of Jaeden's memory!!  We went to celebrate Easter in Beaumont with some of my mom's family.  The boys had a blast and did not want to leave.
Since I had a shortage of Easter pics, we took some fun pics in front of our beautiful flowers in celebration of the Cleveland Indians first game (Jayce and Jaxon are showing their support, although the Indian is hard to see) Unfortunately, it looks like they are going to need lots of help this year!!
I will never manage to capture a good pic of all three. Jayce was being goofy and insisted that his hand should be on his chin.  I don't know what he's ever thinking!!

This was the last attempt with "say chuck e cheese"

Two big accomplishments of late:
1. Jayce has FINALLY decided to be a big boy and use the potty after over 6 months of trying.  3 days and no accidents!!!  Bribery really works.  I've tried everything! He really wanted this pink/purple soccer ball when he went with Jaeden to get his.  Well, that's all he talks about, so I promised him the ball if he went 1 week without accidents!!! It's a miracle!
2.  Jaxon FINALLY rolled over from back to belly.  He's been super close forever, but it happened today when no one was looking.
